Cat Crawl 04:08
Is it predictable that I dreamt about you again? Sleeping in, saving up. You've got much more to lose than your piece of mind. You've been wandering around parts you don't belong in with a belly full of wine and a head full of Hume. You've got much more to lose than your piece of mind. Maybe what I what need is a new beginning; a place where the heart beats but my head's not inside out. I get lost inside these thoughts and I feel the weight of you. Then you'd say, "We should live like those critical thinkers we adore. But for now, let's drink like Kerouac." So crawl back to bed with me, we don't need the outside world. What we need is in between these sheets.

I've fallen on my face again but your gentle touch reminds my bones they are still alive. With the sunlight reflected off our favorite lake in the country you read right into me. Can we just stop to breathe? Let the cold air hit your face, feel for anchors to hold us down. You rolled over with this funny look on your face and asked... Could we feel anything more beautiful than what we feel in ourselves? Fuck it, lets grab a drink or maybe five in the case, we'll never be alone again. Back to the city we'll walk the bridge this time, lose direction, and occupy. Could we feel anything more beautiful than what we feel in ourselves?

Shadows span across the wall while sparrows they're calling in my head. This winter's coming quick, the moon's folding over while we both lay unaware. You're reaching down to places you never thought you could. I'm crossing over, you're crossing out blurred paragraphs of drunken rhetoric. You feel most vulnerable when we're alone. You feel for something inside your chest; something more stable than what you've had in your past. It's what you do, not what you don't. You're falling in further I'm pulling you out. Crossing those lines you drew for yourself. You're reaching down to places you never thought you could. I'm crossing over, you're crossing out blurred paragraphs of drunken rhetoric. You feel most vulnerable when we're alone.

We laid on the sides of our backs looking up between the clouds. I feel like I'm open. We were pondering the infinite, I wanna feel your form. I want you closer than you've ever been before. I believe in more than you and me; the way the earth turns and the sun burns, our fragile looking skin. I believe in more than you and me; the way the wind blows and your hair flows across your body. Most days I'm stuck inside my head, but at night we crumble in our beds. It's just a habit we formed. And I've learned, I'm no good at goodnights. I keep picturing you won't be there when I get up in the morning. Cause' I believe in more than you and me; the way the earth turns and the sun burns our fragile looking skin. I believe in more than you and me. So be on your way you don't need me anymore. (I'm not leaving - we can share the weight, I truly believe.)
5.
How far can I run? Until it's far enough. Where I can look back; reflect in the present and remember the past. I want to swim in new beginnings I want to feel the thoughts in the back of your head I've mistaken these streets for neural pathways in my brain. I'm lost in this city, I'm lost in my skin. These veins hold my blood and my body holds a battle between my head and my heart where I don't feel regret I feel nothing at all. I want to swim in new beginnings I want to feel the thoughts in back of your head
